Photo Album

Welcome to my Photo Album. Favorite pictures  that I would like to share with you.

Meet "Nickleback" "Nickle" for short.

Told you all I would try and ride a bit. Sharon riding Cheyenne Warning.

_____________

What a treat to ride one of my own babies!  Joe and Nancy made glorious trails thru their 100 acre farm and asked me to join them on a ride. Honestly! I got tears in my eyes being on Charisma's back. It's hard to let them go when you have raised them from new born babies. What a day, on Mystic and Charisma. Both Big boys now that will go anywhere. Awesome day, thanks to Nancy and Joe. Sharon

I am often asked:
What do I need for tack?
What special equipment do I need?
Do I have to ride
 Western or English?

The answer is simple!

Rocky Mountain Horses
are very versatile and you don't need anything special.
If you like to ride English,  do so !
If Western is more to your liking,
they will ride western equally well.

As pictured here, you can see...
Western tack and English tack.
The common element, 2 riders
enjoying their horses.

Please Remember - When you are showing
at an Open All Breed Show or Club Show
let the Judge know, prior to your class that you are showing a RM/KM horse. That it's common to show as
Naturally Groomed, and
that the horse will GAIT when asked to Trot.

IT'S HOT
Mom reply's,  " Will you babies quit
Blowing Bubbles in my water trough"

She is very special "Classic Champagne"
Colour. This requires a dominant Gene. No matter what colour of stallion she is bred with she will produce a champagne  foal or occasionally a Black foal . There are several different colours of Champagne.

They even
jump!

This pretty, black
mare has great form
and style.

Did I mention that
she is 22 years old.

Now that's Horse Power
These little guys wanted to help. The machine was running and they where not afraid at all. Brave little souls.

Moms and babies are always a common site at Canowindra.  I invite you to visit and experience the excitement of new born foals.

These babies are trusting and gentle from the time they are born.
