Furthermore, the natural ambling gait that sets this breed apart gives an incredibly smooth ride with no bounce!  This was an important factor for Sharon who has rheumatoid arthritis and for whom riding on any other breed can be extremely painful.  Today Sharon enjoys riding regularly with no pain. The qualities of the Rocky Mountain and Kentucky Mountain Horse also make it an ideal horse for beginners to learn English or Western.  The relaxed personality allows the rider to focus on riding (as opposed to just staying on!) and the smooth ride makes it easy to learn proper riding without fear.  People who suffer from back problems can also benefit from the smooth, no bounce, ride.  The breed is ideal for use in pleasure, trail, and show as well as endurance, reining and  team penning.</div> <bR> <bR> <bR> <bR> <bR> <bR> <bR> <div> <TABLE BORDER="0" CELLPADDING="2" CELLSPACING="1" WIDTH="491" BORDERCOLORLIGHT="#C0C0C0" BORDERCOLORDARK="#808080" FRAME="VOID" RULES="NONE" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" > <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP HEIGHT= 288 WIDTH="240"><div> 1998 double registered (RM/KM) stallion V.B.F.
